Libby - RIP, 12/9/2021
It's with a heavy, sad heart my sweet girl, Libby, passed on the 9th day of December 2021. I adopted this sweetheart in April 2015. She was known as Libby#3 by AADR. Her foster mom was Ruth Murphy in N.C. When I saw that sweet face in the AADR gallery, I had to have her. Luckily enough, she came to live with me in 2015. She made me smile and laugh. She was my buddy who went almost everywhere with me. She was the love of my life. In late November she started having trouble breathing so I took her to the vet's where they found tumors on her lungs. Unfortunately, 10 days later she passed away in my arms at home. My heart is so broken. I was so lucky to have her and will never forget this little girl. She was an Angel.... Fly high my sweet little girl, Fly High. Dad, Rick Hall

Hansel - RIP February 2022
It's with heavy heart our sweet boy Hansel has passed 01 February 2022. We adopted this sweet Angel in 2016. When I saw that goofy face in the gallery, I had to have him and get to know him. Luckily enough, he came to us. How happy we were. He was sweet, smart and funny. No matter what mood I was in he always made me smile and laugh. He didn't run...he hopped like a bunny. He loved his brother Miles, another AADR adoptee. Unfortunately, our little man developed Cushing's and started having Gran Mal seizures which took a toll on his little body. Last week, he stopped eating, couldn't walk and was very lethargic. We took him several times to the Vets and several test, after all said and done it was probably a stroke. Our hearts are so broken, as is Miles who misses his little buddy. We were so lucky to have him and will never forget this little Angel....Fly high little man.

Curley Jack - RIP January 2022
Our sweet little Curley joined our lives, our hearts and our family on August 29, 2015. He was rescued from an abusive situation which provided him a lifetime of shyness and intense fear of storms and loud voices. Although, he never fully lost his guarded shyness and fear of strangers, Curley was an extremely soft hearted loving little boy. He absolutely loved being held, having is belly rubbed and gave sweet kisses in return. He loved sleeping on our big bed and tunneling under the covers. When he met his siblings for the first time, they were instant friends. He loved cuddling with everyone! The bigger the puppy pile the better! He adored Christmas and unwrapping gifts. He would steal all his siblings gifts and pile them under the bed. He never met a squeaky he couldn't tear out or stuffing he couldn't unstuff. He was gentle with a soft heart and always looked to us for comfort in scarry situations for love and assurance. He was proceeded in death by his best friend and brother Shorty, and by his sister Nikki. He leaves behind his pack of brothers that miss him terribly, especially Romeo. There will never be a day that goes by where I don't hear your bark, remember the soft feel of your belly or hear your feet tap dancing anticipating your breakfast & dinner. We know you are running and playing and cuddling with your friends in heaven. We miss your sweet face and your smile. Love you forever Curlesā£ Till we hold you again, your mom and dad
