Meadow...NC
Meadow was just a puppy when she was dumped at a high kill shelter. Not only was she a walking skeleton but she had large gashes along the side of her body and a large hole in her ear. It was very infected and she surely would have died. On top of that, Meadow was extremely terrified of all human beings. She would just hide in her crate and cry and cry. What a sad way for a little puppy like meadow to start out life!!
Now Meadow has gone to her forever home and is so happy!!! She no longer feels scared to walk thru an open door or flinches whenever she hears a noise. Her wounds have healed up, she has gained her weight back, and most importantly she is LOVED!!! Her puppy antics have returned and her favorite thing to do is to give kisses, run at top speeds, and snuggle with her stuffed animals!
Here is a message from her forever family:
Meadow did fine on the way home. We stopped by Pet Smart on the way in after knocking half the food off the bottom shelf, she actually hoped in the crate you see in the picture.
Once home, she is slowly beginning to come into her own. She immediately claimed Stacy's big bed as her own and Stacy was fine with sharing. Meadow even ventured into Stacy's big crate which could of been disastrous, but Stacy reacted quite well and waited for her to leave before she went in.
After spending some quality time on our bed last evening, Meadow slept sound all night in her crate and ate her food both last night and this morning. We feel over time, she is going to be just fine and a great edition to our family.
