Babbette aka Ginger
I wanted to reach out to you and let you know that Babette passed away today 6/1/2019. After three days in intensive care the vets could not pull her through. She was in our arms hearing that she was a good dog as she slipped away. You have no idea what a joy Babette aka Ginger was these 10 or so years we've had her. I think she was 17 at the time of her death, a nice ripe age. We gave her everything we could to make up for what she missed out prior to our adopting her. Again thank you for the opportunity to have adopted Babette, she brought us such joy.

IKE RIP June 12, 2019
Ike I'm so sorry we could not help you and I'm sorry that someone made you the way you were, we hope you are at peace now baby, we love you and will miss you
Auggie
We adopted Auggie (a.k.a. Angel 8,) back on August 2012. Auggie was our fourth dachshund adopted from AADR. He was supposed to be my husband's dog but Auggie totally bonded with me. As I would say he was my little soul dog. Sadly, he passed away on May 2, 2019. I miss him so much! Rest in peace my sweet baby boy. Mama misses and loves you so much! Until we meet at the rainbow bridge.
Little Man RIP
It’s Little Man and Tootsie (previously Sissy). They’ve been with me for roughly 3 1/2 years. We took Tootsie first and then Little Man after I learned that they were surrendered together. The surrender papers we received with Little Man, made it clear his original owners did not care for him at all. He was very nervous when we first met him. I’m confident he’d been abused. Little Man developed glaucoma last year, had terrible arthritis, and suffered from Cushings Disease. He has had more vet specialist visits than all of my other dogs combined. We did not spare any expense taking care of this family member. He died early this morning of a severe pancreatitis episode. It wasn’t his first. I held him in my arms as he took his last breath. This dog has imprinted so deeply on my soul. This is an awful loss. He was absolutely precious and deserved more than the twelve or so years he had on earth. My only regret is that I didn’t have him from the beginning. I wanted you all to know that he had died and that he couldn’t possibly have been more loved. ♥️
Lilly aka Allie
As you may recall, we adopted Allie in January 2005 and lived in Brentwood TN. We have since moved to Madison WI and had a great life with Allie who we renamed Lilly. Our sweet dog we had to put down on Feb 13th and she was so very special. A fantastic dog that frankly was like loosing a child. We are ready to adopt another dog for our home. Tell us about Greta? Thanks for allowing us to take care of Allie/Lilly.
My best. Jack and Lorrie Goodwin.
