My name is Toy. I am 7 month's old and very handsome. I have lots and lots of energy. If you were to ask my foster mom she would tell you I am a sweetheart. I love to cuddle and snuggle but also love to play. I have lots of toys here. I play with the younger children and the other dogs. I would play with the cats, but they don't seem to be too interested. We sleep together at times but they’re not up to playing with me. I am just about potty trained. I listen very well to commands and love getting treats when I am a good boy. I would like to find a forever home that is loving and fun. Not asking for much. AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.
