BIO: Princess is a precious little girl who came into our rescue with her companion Shortie. She is a very sweet and as cute as a bug! She is a beautiful shiny girl with a coat that is so soft! She loves to play chase with her foster brother and needs to go to a home with another dog. She alo chases her tail and is quite comical whe she does it. She is a puppy and is working on her potty training. She is doing great though and rarely has an accident in the house. She loves to snuggle in your lap and will nap while you hold her. She loves to sleep in the big bed all snuggled up to her foster mom but she is equally at home sleeping in her crate. She will make someone a very happy pet owner! If you want a long time companion and would like to add Princess to your family, fill out an adoption application today! Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.

More about Princess...MAGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten. Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
