BIO: Maggie was adopted from a shelter in middle TN back in the fall. The family that adopted her had her for 6 months when they said that she bit the brother-in-law. We are not sure why she bit him, but we can tell you that Maggie is a shy little girl. You just don’t go up to her and put your hand in her face. Like many dachshunds, she has to take the time to get to know you and decide that you are okay in her book.
With all that being said, she does appear to be housebroken, leash trained, and loves to play with other young dogs. She gets along fine with all!
We are not quite sure what Maggie is mixed with, other than Dachshund. Her legs are just a little longer and her ears are just a little shorter than a purebred Dachshund. If you are looking for a Dachshund mix because you are aware of and want to avoid the possible back issues of purebred Dachshunds, then this is the best of the Dachshund breed. Maggie would be a great jogging or walking buddy because she could keep up with you with no problem at all!
Please adopt her and give Maggie that last forever home. A fenced yard and another young dog for her to play with is just what she needs.
